Facility Maintenance Worker

Job Description

The Signature Solar LLC Facility Maintenance Worker will use the principles and practices of painting, carpentry, and building system maintenance; be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools; and comply with safety regulations and practices related to construction, repair, and maintenance work.

A successful candidate must be able to:

• Use their mechanical skills to operate machinery and equipment that is regularly used in building maintenance and simple construction
• Physical strength to lift and carry tools and construction materials
• Physical stamina necessary to perform strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather
• Work in an organized, time efficient, safe manner.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• The ability to perform physical labor over extended periods both inside and outside the facilities; lift and carry maintenance and constructions supplies as requested; safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, etc.;
• Ability to operate different types of tools and machinery, utilize power and hand tools effectively, and follow instructions as given
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, willing attitude, and mindfulness of safety processes and procedures
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Capable of consistently working a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications:

• Solid, consistent, work history
• Proficiency in facility maintenance and light construction work

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sulphur Springs, TX 75482: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
