Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary and Mission

Performs maintenance and repair to company owned, provided equipment, responds to customer reported issues. Puts a face to the customer service we provide. Good mechanical and people skills are equally important in this role as their relationship to our customer is vital to our success.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Mechanically repair all provided equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and replace items/equipment in and around the store.
• Report back to the Facilities Manager any items/areas in need of repair.
• Manage the inventory of stock items used for repairs
• Communicate with Customer regularly
• Communicate with the General Manager regularly
• Communicate with Facilities Manager daily
• Meet Vendors to gain/monitor access to store when needed

Summary of Experience

• General Maintenance and Repair experience
• Customer Service experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, General Maintenance
• Knowledge of programmable thermostats
• Knowledge of Windows based computing, texting, emailing, internet
• Strong verbal skills
• Knowledge of General Customer Service tactics
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to respond to changing work environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
