The Bixby Eye Center provides an excellent work environment and is currently looking for an Eye Doctor Assistant to join our growing team! We offer a benefit package that includes healthcare, dental, retirement plan, paid vacation and sick time, along with paid holiday time off! On the job training is provided for this position. No previous experience is necessary. Our friendly doctors and staff look forward to meeting you!

Job responsibilities include:

• Assist the eye doctor with patient care in the exam room
• Assist patients with contact lens education, insertion and removal
• Perform preliminary testing for the eye doctor
• Perform blood pressure readings
• Enter patient information into Electronic Medical Record
• Effective communication techniques
• Effectively handle telephone inquiries
• Great customer service
• Excellent technical skills
• Proficient with computers
