Mohegan Lake Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and talented staff.

Our Veterinary Assistants work in tandem with our Veterinarians and Technicians to ensure an exemplary standard of care for all of our patients and human clients.

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant
• Confident handling and restraint
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
• The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
• Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
• The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
• A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
• An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
• A commitment to the welfare of animals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
