Executive Farm Assistant
We are seeking a professional with administrative experience to join the team at our busy, commercial agriculture cooperation in Malin, Oregon. Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and multitasking is a must. This job entails providing support to our Chief Operating Officer and assisting with multiple areas of operations. This position requires attention to detail and good communication skills with both teammates and superiors. Spanish speaking a plus.
Reports directly to Chief of Operations
Assistant COO with administrative and clerical tasks as needed (ex: pre-harvest cellar inspections)
Responsibilites include but are not limited to:
Project management
- PIUSI
- Manager Plus
- Accounting Liaison
Update power meter spreadsheet with appropriate Pump HP
Track farm/shop expenditures
Fall inventory of Pipe (types, number of pieces, and locations)
Assist with Equipment Tracking
Identify location of fall equipment at completion of farm seasons (ex: after planting & harvest)
Assist with tracking of fixed/unfixed equipment
Assist with maintenance of grain records (ex: gathering grain tickets, B/Ls, and other records to return to accounting)
Hospitality for visitors including maintaining coffee and meal supplies
Supply ordering and distribution upon arrival
Budget and financial reporting
Assist with weekly time sheets for Farm Employees
Assist with chemical reporting
Assist with safety management and compliance
Assist with third party farm audits
GAP
GMP
Food Safety
Organics
Water testing
Company scheduling (including tracking and assisting with farm employee’s vacation and days off)
Run errands in Malin, Merrill, Tulelake, and Klamath Falls
Coordinate and oversee various tasks as management requires
Meeting Minutes
Email drafting and letter writing
Filing, organizing and copying
Requirements
Communicate professionally both orally and written
Manage projects effectively
Excellent research skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
