SYNERGY HOMECARE is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our management team as the Executive Director for our New York office. The Executive Director serves as the community leader and is responsible for the financial, human resource and operations management of the community. The objective of the Executive Director is to ensure a warm, compassionate and secure atmosphere encouraging independence and activity for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Recruit, train and hire leadership team members to supervise and lead each department.

Create a culture of excellence through driving results and rallying the team.

Act as the sales leader of the community, partnering with the marketing team to provide input on necessary collateral.

Maintain personal and daily connections with families, residents and all care partners.

Accompany surveyors and consults on community inspections and annual healthy and life safety surveys.

Submit plan of correction to appropriate government agency upon receipt of report of deficiencies.

Ensure that everyone who comes to our home feels welcome and comfortable.

Ensure all leadership members are setting expectations and holding leadership accountable to expectations of service.

Maintain professional and calm, and lead during times of stress and potential emergency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of the NYSDOH policies and procedures.

3+ years management experience in Long-term care billing.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong computer skills.

A desire to work with senior adults coupled with the ability to solve complex operational and people problems is also necessary.

Willingness to be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary.
