EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
You have the keen ability to keep a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on track with appointments, tasks, and projects.
You can manage schedules, calendars, and communications with ease.

The Arc of Spokane is seeking a dedicated “right-hand-person” to help our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) continue to ensure people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their fullest and best lives. Here’s some of what to expect:
- Managing the CEO’s calendar and setting up meetings utilizing Microsoft Outlook enhanced functions.
- Helping to set up logistics for meetings, creating agendas, attending meetings, and taking/ preparing meeting minutes.
- Assisting the CEO in reporting, creating original drafts, proof reading, creating a PowerPoint, etc., and ensuring accuracy and brand compliance.
- Drafting professional communications.
- Creating and editing text documents, spreadsheets, graphs and other documents as requested; proof written materials and reports; providing correct and timely data.
- Organizing and maintaining the CEO’s office filing system (including electronic files) and maintain records (legal, historical, projects, sensitive information)
- Assisting the CEO with supporting the Board of Directors
- Maintaining confidential information; keeping boundaries with other internal/external parties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass all required background checks
- Minimum age 18+
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in providing executive administrative support as demonstrated by appropriate experience and education.
- Experienced in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams/Zoom and other administrative support software programs.
- Excellent verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, ability to learn independently and manage time/tasks.
- Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, board members, and with clients and partners.
- Flexibility to attend and support occasional events, evening board meetings and the occasional weekend event/activity.

Compensation: $23.00-$25.30 DOE starting range, entire scale to $29.90 per hour, Non-exempt, Full-time 40 hours per week. Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 13 Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick, Personal Leave and a positive and fun work culture with passionate people excited about making a difference!
