Heavy Equipment Operators

Responsibilities:

Operates equipment including excavator, dozer, backhoe, loader, grader, brush cutter,truck dump, and other heavy equipment. Performs routine daily maintenance on all trucks, trailers and heavy equipment, including fueling, servicing and minor mechanical repairs. Prepares daily reports of equipment hours, inventory and fuel used. Communicates with Mechanics for truck and equipment repair. Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:

MUST have experience with excavator, dozer, and/or articulated truck. Proficient in rock breaking, lot clearing, pad building, grading.* Ability to read and interpret plans. A proven safety record. Must have experience performing pre-trip inspections and day to day maintenance on Heavy Equipment. CDL not a must but it might be helpful.* Follow all company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, and potential obstructions and marked or unmarked utility lines.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
