This is a contract opportunity!

Waxxpot, an emerging brand in the beauty industry, is seeking an experienced and passionate Event Planner to organize our corporate reopening party. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a high-quality event that aligns with Waxxpot's brand identity and showcases our products and services.

Responsibilities

-Work closely with Waxxpot's management team to understand the brand identity and objectives for the event

-Research and select appropriate event venues, vendors, and entertainment that align with Waxxpot's brand identity and budget

-Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly

-Create and implement marketing and promotional strategies to generate buzz and excitement for the event, including leveraging local and media connections

-Manage event registration, guest lists, and RSVPs, and provide exceptional customer service to attendees

-Provide post-event analysis and feedback to the Waxxpot team, including event attendance, revenue generated, and lessons learned for future events

Qualifications

-At least 2 years of experience in event planning, with a proven track record of organizing successful events

-Knowledge of the beauty industry and a passion for Waxxpot's brand and products (or eager to learn!)

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors, partners, and attendees

-Familiarity with local and media connections and the ability to leverage them to generate buzz for the event

-Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to create unique and engaging event experiences

-Local to Westlake, OH or Denver, CO

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $70.00 per hour
