Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! Compensation:

$120,000 - $220,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
  • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
  • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
  • Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks

  • Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts, amendments to trusts, and review previously drafted client's trusts
  • Draft and Prepare necessary Probate pleadings for a Formal Administration, Summary Administration, or Ancillary Administration
  • Draft and Review last will and testament, power of attorneys, health care surrogate, and living wills
  • Advise and counsel clients on the difference between trust administration and probate administration

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
  • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must

  • Must be licensed with the Florida Bar Association
  • Salary is based on experience and to the extent of a portable book of business
  • 5 Years of Estate Planning and Probate Administration Experience is Required
