Description
Duties may include:
- Operate and monitor equipment to ensure maximum harvest and ship loading tonnage.
- Ensure the daily inspection, document maintenance log checklist once per shift for the purpose of operating on-line.
- Service and maintain at operational standards all components: regularly refueling, servicing, and lubricating operational equipment.
- Advise mechanics of problems including leaks and failures, perform minor breakdown repairs, and assist mechanics with major repairs.
- Train related staff, contractors, and other interested employees by giving instructions, reviewing and inspecting completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and quality performance.
- Performs a variety of other related duties including cleaning and equipment turnover at shift change.
- Prepares reports with regards to the performance of equipment and auxiliary. This includes reports such as: daily inspection log, maintenance and repair logs and equipment downtime reports.
