Job Description:
Stratford Feedyard is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in Stratford, Texas. This Equipment Operator role will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and completing feedyard maintenance projects.

Job Requirements: *

• Operate equipment such as a skid loader and forklift with proper safety licenses
• Able to work in a team environment and able to execute self-directed assignments with little supervision
• Able to work in elevated areas, in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), climb stairs/ladders, sit, and stand for extended periods
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• Display strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Assist the feedyard maintenance crew with other skilled trades to complete assigned tasks

Qualifications

• High school, GED, or completion of Technical or Trade School certificate (Preferred, but not required)
• 1-2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
