Overview: Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is a collection of 468 holes of championship golf on 11 sites across Alabama. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is managed by Sunbelt Golf Corporation. Known by avid golfers as one of the most beautiful and challenging stops on the Trail, Cambrian Ridge in Greenville lies just 40 miles from Montgomery.

Since being named by Golf Digest as the third best new public course in America in 1994, Cambrian Ridge has not rested on its laurels. 2016 saw the culmination of a three-year total renovation of the original 27 championship holes set upon the most spectacular setting for golf in the state of Alabama. The Loblolly and Sherling nines were completed in 2013 and 2014. The Canyon nine redesign and reconstruction were completed in 2016. The greens have been redesigned to accommodate the higher greens speeds associated with our installation of the latest generation of Ultradwarf Bermuda grass. Additionally, many of the holes have been totally redesigned to open up views of Sherling Lake and deliver a challenging test of golf while providing players of all skill levels a variety of ways to play each hole and enjoy the experience.

Essential Duties and Qualifications Include:

• Set up and mastering of cup-cutting techniques.
• The operation of hydraulic powered or walking type mowers used in cutting greens, tees, aprons, fairways, and roughs.
• May operate sod cutter, aerator, topdresser, vericutter, weed trimmer, rotary mower, and other specialized equipment.
• Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and removes weeds and debris from all areas around course.
• May assist in course construction and/or renovation of greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing base and/or seeding/sodding.
• Strictly adheres to basic equipment maintenance procedures such as cleaning, oil checks, equipment fueling, tire inflation, and greasing equipment.
