Ridge Drilling and Pasco Well Drilling is hiring a Full Time mechanic for work at our shop in San Antonio, FL. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with diesel engines and hydraulics. We have small track rigs, truck mounted rigs, and large semi truck drill rigs with all the support equipment that goes with them, including heavy equipment. (excavators, skidsteer and dozer).

We are a small family owned operation and are looking for an individual that is looking to grow with the company. This is not a stressful corporate position and we are looking for individuals with the same mindset that bring new ideas and better ways of doing things to the table. Initiative and Leadership is rewarded. Safety is of the upmost importance.

40 HOUR WEEKS WITH OVERTIME WHEN REQUIRED.

Job consists of scheduled maintenance for vehicles, equipment, and trailers. Fix daily mechanical failures and maintain a parts supply/inventory to ensure projects are completed with minimal down time and avoidable bottlenecks.

Torch, plasma cutting, and welding/fabricating work are required skills for this position as a lot of metal work is needed to fix the drill rigs continually along with custom fabrication per job requirements.

Full time work is $25.00 - $45.00 per hour depending on experience and ability to jump into routine and establish a productive output. We offer 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year, increasing 1 week annually to 4 weeks. Vacation hours roll over and can be accrued. We are off on major holidays with 5 paid holiday days throughout the year. 100% Company Provided Health Insurance/ Vision/ and Dental after 90 day probationary period. Company vehicle to use to and from work and a Company provided cell phone plan with phone after 90 day probationary period.

Part Time Work and Weekend Workers are welcomed. Employed, skilled mechanics looking to add hours during off days or weekends are encouraged to apply.

Must have a valid drivers license, CDL is a plus. No criminals, felons, theft or fraud charges. Drug free work place with testing.
