Equipment Control Manager

Tri-National, Inc., a truck load carrier in a JIT environment, has job opportunities as Equipment Control Manager in the Operations Department at our Headquarters in Earth City, MO. This is a full-time position with a rotating weekend schedule. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and strive for excellence in customer service, TNi would be a great place for you. TNi is looking for individuals who have experience in operations management, dedicated services, dispatch, logistics, and load coordinating. We service Mexico, US, and Canada.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Monitors and tracks equipment on a daily basis by job site, type, and use.

· Maintains a dispatch board or log sheet.

· Coordinates repairs and maintenance with mechanics.

· Provides management with weekly report of equipment moves and allocations.

· Plan equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations, or production goals.

· Confer with customers, supervisors, or other personnel to exchange information or to resolve problems.

· Maintain or verify records of time, materials, or expenditures.

· Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, and production.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Must possess fluency in English and Spanish.

· Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize.

· Must possess good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

· Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and AS400.

· Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry.

· Ability to present data to the appropriate parties that identifies opportunities for improvement.

· Ability to utilize mathematical formulas to create appropriate documents for reviews.
