Responsibilities:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Supervisor Environmental
Services supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function within
Environmental Services.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Education: High School education or GED preferred or 2 years previous housekeeping experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience and 1 year of work leadership experience.
- Effective Communication Skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels of hospital associates, patients and visitors.
- Ability to train, coach and motivate those associates who have a direct reporting relationship. For example, developing the technical/supervisory capabilities of segment level lead persons and associates and motivating front line associates to perform required points of patient contact.
- Has working knowledge of Environmental Services and hospital policies and procedures.
- Must have record of demonstrating positive leadership qualities and interpersonal skills and creative approaches to problem solving.
- Must be able to accept full responsibility necessary in the performance of the department in absence of the Operations Manager.
