Job description
Entellus, Inc, is seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Surveyor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The individual filling this position will receive real-world experience by working side-by-side with our project managers, surveyors, and technicians on a variety of projects. This is a full-time position with benefits. The position also has opportunity for advancement for a motivated individual willing to grow with the changing skills and technology required in the land surveying profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in the field with survey crews on topographic, boundary, and construction staking tasks
- Operate and maintain survey equipment and safety standards
- Document all phases of survey work through clear field notes and data collection
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
- Physical ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and terrains including Phoenix summer heat
- Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
- Willingness to work overtime
- Problem solving and good decision-making skills
- Have excellent communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and be a team player
- Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license
Previous experience with surveying, math, AutoCAD, Trimble, or Microsoft Office products a plus
