Accountant for an immediate position in Orangeburg, SC.
Benefits
/Overview:
- $18/hr, will increase after hire
- Salary range after hired on with client: $49,000-$54,000
- Part-time to start; however, will increase to full-time
- Flexible work schedule
- 1st shift, 3 days per week to start
- Full benefits after hire
- Maintains general ledger and journal for the recording of transactions.
- Administers day-to-day management of all accounting records.
- Balances cash transactions with the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepares financial reports.
- Processes automatic drafts
- Receives and records all funds from various agencies.
- Manage miscellaneous billing needs.
- Cross-trains within the finance department as needed.
- Assists in maintaining files and performing customer support.
- Posts and amends payments in the database.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field OR 5 years experience performing related tasks.
- Willing to train the right entry-level candidate.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
