Earle’s Truck Repair is looking for an Entry Level Mechanical to join our team!! This is an Entry Level position that will give the right individual a unique opportunity to work alongside and get mentor ship from talented and experienced mechanics in a busy truck repair shop. This mechanic apprentice position includes on-the-job training and the opportunity to learn and assist with installations of truck bodies, plows, sanders also light body work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various shop duties
• Keeping work areas clean and safe

• Identify and Operate basic hand tools/equipment.
• Supports day to day shop operations

Apprentice Qualifications

We are seeking mechanic apprentice applicants who are driven, have a strong passion for the profession and aspire to be in the vehicle repair business. Candidates for the position must have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Provide there own basic tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,174.08 - $93,912.79 per year

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Center Rutland, VT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• light body work: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
