Position Overview:
The Credentialling and Compliance Specialist will support the Human Resources team and assist with all aspects of credentialing and functions of the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will play an active part on a team that helps onboard, credential and maintain the on-going compliance of our clinical team across the nation.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Process, verify, maintain personnel documentation, and employment verifications including staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leave of absences.
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Answer employee and vendor questions related to all ABA Field Staff Employees related to Human Resources.
- Coordinate with the Billing Department to ensure credentialing is listed for billing services.
- Follow up with the creation of Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) registration and frequent updates to confirm completion.
- Complete on-boarding requirements of clinical staff.
- Track expiration of documents and communicating with the appropriate individuals to ensure documentation is received prior to expiration.
- Review and obtain Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certifications and documents.
- Follow up with credentialing application process.
- Conduct credentialing for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
- Assist in filing and personnel data collection activities.
- Explain regulations, policies, and procedures to employees.
- Assist with preparation and follow-through of audits.
- Review documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with state and federal mandates.
- Assist with filing and digitization of records.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in credentialing.
Working Conditions:
Centria’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-6:00pm. Additional time may be required to complete above work or meet company objectives.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching and lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting a majority of the day as well as walking as standing when needed. This role will require close visual activity on multiple computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
