Position Summary
The position involves labeling, boxing, packaging, and shipping orders to Costco
Warehouses.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

• Verifies item counts.
• Attaches appropriate item labels to merchandise.
• Boxes and shrink wraps merchandise.
• Tosses (carousel) merchandise to locations.
• Packs orders for shipment.
• Ships merchandise to locations (scan/verify).
• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.

• Computer, printer, calculator, copier, phone, fax, manual pallet jack, computer/scan gun, dock plates, step stool, box knife, tape gun, conveyor line scale, hand truck, utility cart, shrink wrap machine, carton taping machine.

Non-Essential Functions

• Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.
• Assists in other areas of the company as necessary.

Experience, skills, education & licenses/certifications Required:

• Attention to detail.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
• Strong follow through.
• Adapt well to change.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 2.5 per day).
• Standing on feet for up to 5 hours at a time.

Recommended:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Applicants should be flexible, motivated and eager to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
