Duties: Responsible for the arrangement of electrical and mechanical details, and preparing initial design layouts.
Follow up and assist in the preparation of final layout and working drawings.
Perform load analysis of electrical system to ensure vehicle is within requirements.
Use multiplex application software tools for troubleshooting.
Utilize knowledge of ENC chassis electrical interface to integrate into design.
Perform complex Electrical troubleshooting with in-depth knowledge of Hardware and Software.
Use High Voltage Vehicle system architecture.
Use advanced level of Software writing using software writing tools.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related.
Four (4) years of required experience in electrical engineering on specialty vehicle or truck chassis manufacturing must include: Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English; Experience presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization; Experience working with CAD; Software Programming using a recognized software programming tool; and Technical troubleshooting skills.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Employer will accept no degree, and Six (6) years of experience in electrical engineering on specialty vehicle or truck chassis manufacturing. Must have skills listed above.
The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is $117,645 – $130,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
