THE POSITION:
Energy Program Specialist II - Readvertised

Knoxville, Tennessee
Full-time position to work in Knox County. Responsible administrative and technical work assisting with the daily operations of Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and Weatherization Program for the department. Will certify and prioritize new weatherization and energy assistance applications, answering and returning phone calls from applicants or program participants, assisting with preparing required reports and supporting documentation, maintaining and filing documents, and assisting with intake activities.
Hourly rate: $13.00
THE REQUIREMENT:
Graduation from an accredited high school (some college level course work preferred); thorough knowledge of housing weatherization and energy assistance; minimum of two years of experience working in an administrative setting; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making; or any equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the following knowledge, abilities, and skills. Must have a valid Tennessee driver license.
