Join the team at Surgery Center West (SCW) as an Endoscopy Technician! Our free-standing surgery center is looking for a full-time tech who has keen attention to detail, even when working at a fast pace.
Our endo techs must be good at teamwork and communication because they interact with patients, family members, providers, and all the members of our care team.

Here's the deets:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- No weekends, except for those on your call rotation
- Most shifts start at 6:30 am, but this can vary

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in the care and support of the patient utilizing technical skills; performs endoscope processing activities; assists the nurse and physician on endoscopic procedures; assists the nurse in maintenance of the physical aspects of the Endoscopic Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum age of 18 years.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to function in stressful situations.
-
Ability to type and use computer.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire

Needs to be self-motivated and able to work independently
-
Able to take call and lives within 30 minutes of travel time to hospital on a rotating schedule.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.

Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write.

Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.

Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.

Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination

Able to work in latex burdened environment.

Schedule: Full Time, Days, Monday-Friday Varied hours starting at 6:30am.
