Company Overview:

New Life Academy (NLA) is a faith-based, non-denominational private school located in Halethorpe, MD about 10 minutes from BWI Airport, has implemented a high-quality Kindergarten-4 through grade 6 program since its opening in 2020. We are expanding! Starting the school year 2022-2023, we will be serving Pre-K through 6th Grade. In the school year 2022-2023, we will be transitioning to our official building located in Halethorpe, Md. NLA is also accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Core Job Description:

New Life Academy Lead Teachers seek to eliminate the achievement gap every day by teaching rigorous instruction to our elementary scholars. In addition to small group intervention lessons, Lead Teachers are a part of a determined team of educators who push one another to create and sustain an outstanding environment. All of which for teaching and learning characterized by joyful thoroughness and determination. As the content expert for her/his scholars, the Lead Teacher is driven by the belief that the quality of instruction has the most immediate impact on New Life Academy’s ability to achieve our mission.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4 pm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (required)
• 1-5 years experience (preferred)
