Pavestone, LLC, part of the Quikrete Companies, a manufacturer for segmental concrete paver and wall products for commercial, residential, contractor, industrial, and retail customers is seeking a Electrician Techincian for our Doswell, VA facility.

We are in search of an Electrician with a broad skill set. The successful candidate will possess a strong independent self starter personality coupled with an understanding of urgency, accountability and a drive to accomplish tasks completely and thoroughly.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of reliability, both in attendance and quality of work completed.

Job description:

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair of existing systems, upgrades and new construction as necessary.
• Inspect and repair automated equipment.
• Perform periodic maintenance on all machines.
• Complete paperwork as required.

The person selected for this position will also be trained to perform duties associated with the Maintenance position. These duties would consist of Asset Management to include PM scheduling and an annual rebuild program along with inventory management and parts procurement.

Requirements:
The core requirements for this position include at least five years experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background. Knowledge of overall building maintenance and automated equipment which includes the following skill sets;

• Excellent knowledge of motor theory and repair, electrical distribution systems and electrical component testing
• Strong knowledge of 24V-110V-480V systems
• Schematic plan reading
• Experience working with CMMS software.
• Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming a plus

The successful candidate:

• Must be willing to work 40 to 50 hours per week;
• Must be willing to work on call as needed;
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed;
• Must be willing to work in dirty and dusty environments.
