Seeking an Electrical Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity with a top tier General Contractor in Richmond, VA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Pay: $70-90k annually, based on experience.
Per diem and travel assistant available if needed
Job Responsibilities for Electrical Superintendent:
- Managing the construction of electrical projects such as solar plants and other industrial projects
- Material take-off, procurement of materials, schedule development and management, and assisting in cost control management.
- Managing construction resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Conducting site inspections and safety audits
- Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety records
Qualifications for Electrical Superintendent:
- Experience with electrical solar (5 MW or above) or WTP/WWTP contract(s) of $3 million or above preferred
- 2 plus years’ experience as an Electrical Superintendent overseeing and managing electrical construction projects.
- Knowledge of design, layout and installation of conduit and cable tray systems, wire and cable handling and installation, SCADA/PLC systems, motor controls and instrumentation, working knowledge of NEC.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Physical Requirements for Electrical Superintendent:
- This position is highly physical and may require regular walking, stooping, and kneeling.
- It may require employees to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires working in diverse conditions including, but not limited to heat and/cold or exposure to noisy operating equipment,
