Role and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical & software failure/issues
- Document detailed repair reports and record activities in the work order system
- Design electrical drawings/schematics in detail for production equipment
- Design & implement automation equipment (robots, conveyors, sensors, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on IT (Information Technology) related software & equipment (firewall, switch, wap, mapping, windows, O365, printers, etc.)
- Design & implement IoT/Industry 4.0 concepts & equipment
- Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks to pm schedule and manufacturer’s recommendations
- Repair production equipment & components (extruders, grinders, chiller, compressor, breakers, motor starters, motors, sensors, wiring etc.)
- Aid in maintaining inventory of all needed maintenance supplies
- Tracking of used spare stock of maintenance items
- Maintain work area cleanliness
- Accountable for professional interactions with all employees, including co-workers, team leads, supervisors, managers, and administration
- Responsible for safety as it pertains to daily tasks; PPE, GMPs, etc.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
- This role will perform side by side with maintenance in a production support environment while also serving as engineering support for all PRI locations
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in industrial plc/software or equivalent field, or training/schooling in associated fields (industrial electrical, plc programming, etc.)
- Ability to design using drawing & programming software (TIA Portal/S7, RS Logix/FactoryTalk, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD)
- Ability to maintain & support IT equipment; workstations and network devices

- Ability to follow written and oral instruction
- Ability to analyze and correct mechanical, electrical & software issues on equipment
- Ability to utilize precision measurement & metering equipment
- Ability to work on projects independently
- Ability to lift sixty pounds & stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture, and dirty environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
