POSITION SUMMARY

Pet Food Experts is a high-growth, innovative and ambitious company embarking on an exciting trajectory. This dream role will grow and optimize Pet Food Experts’ E-Commerce growth strategy. The E-Commerce Manager will improve the online ordering experience, traffic, and conversion of Pet Food Experts’ new E-Commerce platform. This role will oversee all daily operations of the site, drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Contribute to the development and execution of Pet Food Experts’ E-Commerce strategy, performance objectives, and execution plans to meet Pet Food Experts’ audience-first and retailer sales ambitions.
• Develop merchandising, marketing, and creative strategies, with a focus on improving conversion, usability and overall functionality.
• Develop and drive key web promotional activities in partnership with Vendor Development and Customer Experience teams.
• Oversee daily operations of Pet Food Experts E-Commerce platform and drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Be a driver of innovation and digital capabilities to meet retailer’s where they are; staying up-to-date on relevant developing and future trends.
• Collaborate and orchestrate work across Pet Food Experts’ departments, including IT, Customer Experience, Vendor Development, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence
• Take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience and collaborate with other members of the marketing team and other cross-departmental Pet Food Experts’ team members to drive profitable growth.
• Analytics - monitor performance and data points to rapidly detect and address challenges or new opportunities.
• Customer Experience - Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Vendor Development teams to process retailer and vendor feedback and optimize strategy.
• Monitor and analyze the overall health of the E-Commerce business and performance KPIs
• Partner with Vendor Development to coordinate and strategize highlighting/merchandising featured product collections (campaigns, email-blasts, banners, and promotions).
• Gain a thorough understanding of retailer and vendor needs, and apply insights to deliver site features that provide a best-in-class ordering experience.

Additional Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, analytics, E-Commerce or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Deep working knowledge of large E-Commerce sites and digital marketing tools and methodologies, including an understanding of market dynamics and key interdependencies
• Ability to understand, map, document and analyze current business processes, with the ability to translate user needs into solutions
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, internal/external, to solve complex problems and deliver results
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritize, delegate, and execute in a high-performing environment
• Highly detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
