Position: DTRA SI Research Coordinator - Mid #1927

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Clearance: Secret

Example Tasks:
•
Supports monitoring, execution, and contracting of external research sponsored by Strategic Trends.

•
Supports PM/COR oversight and management of projects including studies, international dialogues, and table-top exercises managed by external performers.

•
Helps to track projects for sequencing, synchronization, and integration purposes.

•
Reviews submitted project white paper and proposal submissions for new projects to ensure compliance with submission policy/guidance.

•
Supports writing of research broad area announcement amendments and outreach to performers on existing and new public-released guidance for the research announcements.

•
Provides suggested names of subject matter experts on topics in support of projects.

•
Monitors projects movement through internal contracting and financial management processes.

•
Monitors performer adherence to timelines and deliverables. Informs government lead of possible problem areas in milestone completion and projects in jeopardy of failure.

•
Attends relevant meetings, workshops, and dialogues to participate, take notes, capture key themes, track action items, and contribute to end of project, periodic, or end of year analysis of research outcomes.

•
Conducts analysis on and writes key lessons learned papers for the totality of STRI effort.

•
Assists annual planning and analysis of future project topics.

BA/BS 6+ years of related experience or HS 14+ years of related experience
