Part-Time Nurse

Maplebrook School, a private boarding and day school for students with learning

differences, is seeking a D.S.P. in the Nursing Office.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Dispense medications
• Monitor the health of all students
• Comply with all safety regulations and policies
• Document and communicate all medical concerns
• Provide first aid care as needed
• Package medications for distribution at an offsite location
• Maintains the students records as needed
• Serve as a resource person regarding all health issues
• Complete all required state and federal documentation as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment
• Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
• Working knowledge of general nursing practices, Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services.
• Must be currently certified in First Aid/CPR/ADE

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability
