The Lutheran Home at Topton, A Diakon Senior Living Community- A picturesque senior living campus in northeastern Berks County, The Lutheran Home at Topton has existed since 1896. The Lutheran Home at Topton is seeking skilled and caring individuals to be part of Diakon’s Many Hands One Heart team. General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing various duties relating to the transportation of residents and clients.
• Transports and assists ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents and non-residents according to prescribed procedures and itineraries.
• Picks-up and delivers mail, supplies, equipment, and both resident and agency parcels, as requested.
• Completes and logs daily Driver Activity and Vehicle Reports according to prescribed procedures.

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
License Requirement: A valid State driver’s license and where required a valid State commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in driving position normally required.

Pay is based on years of experience and may differ from Indeed estimates.
