Description:

Direct and monitor manufacturing work in process to ensure meeting of customer deliveries.
Communicate with Sales and Quality Control department in regards to quality or delivery concerns.
Provide prompt reporting to Human Resource department of accidents.
Ensuring the availability of resources within the Production Department.
Assist in troubleshooting/fixing processes to ensure customer deliveries.
Interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work.
Performing employees performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans.
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees.
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions.
Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes.
Promotes and maintains a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, and customer focused attitude between departments.
Has authority to stop production and to stop shipment.
Communicating the importance and the effectiveness/conformance to the Quality Management System.
Being accountable, supportive and engaged in the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Ensuring that Quality Management System objectives are established and achieves intended results.
Promoting improvement and the use of process based approach and risk-based thinking.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent to 5 or more years of Manufacturing Experience.
Demonstrate strong decision making and people management skills.
Strong mathematical skills including statistical methods.
Strong communication skills with the ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Strong manufacturing and machining background.
Basic computer skills in excel spreadsheets, word documents, databases.
