A little about our company. Paw La La offers, grooming, daycare, boarding and training.Our daycare is based on dog behavior and training modalities. We hand pick playmates based on style, temperament not just size. We believe dogs, much like children, don't necessarily thrive in a play all day environment.

We meet the dog where they are. We tailor a training programs based on the needs and behavior of the dog. It's not just, first week down, second week stay, third week come. Our trainers are constantly assessing what is working and what is not. There can definitely be a difference between a well trained dog and a well behaved and socially confident dog. Many dogs may be able to respond to commands but will still be anxious or lack impulse control or may even be fearful. We want our trainers to have knowledge in behavior modification so our clients receive the basics and so much more.

We have developed a reputation for being able to assist in opening up a shy dog. Preventing problems from arising rather than "fixing" them after they occur. Our high staff to dog ratio allows us to determine every dog's comfortability in their environment. Right down to the dog who is not a communal drinker and requires some alone time to drink or even go potty. We are also completely transparent and are known for being communicative on the ever changing personalities or temperament of each dog. Each day may be different and we are here to support and adjust things if needed according to those differences

Responsibilities:

Adhere to a positive reinforcement training program protocols

Create and implement training routine, based on Paw La La training program

Demonstrate and articulate training exercises to parents in a relatable manner

Nurture the bond between pup and parent via education and fun

Report to Management for updates in the training program and progresses

Ability to adapt and change due to environment and clientele

Engage clients to promote dog training classes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
