• Education Level:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Professional certification such as GSP, CSP, ASP and or ARM preferred
• Experience Level:
• Excellent collaboration skills in working with subject matter experts to improve safety culture throughout the Division
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills to manage and execute large scale safety projects with high financial impact to the Division.
• Create strategies for continuous program improvements to impact accident prevention and reduce claim expense
• Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA)
• Proficiency using Oracle, Salesforce and Microsoft BI platforms preferred.
• 8+ years of grocery operations experience desired.
• Strong influence and leadership skills to resolve complex company issues to affect behavioral change.
• Excellent collaboration skills in working with subject matter experts to improve safety culture throughout the Division

• Deal effectively with a wide variety of people on a daily basis.
• Possess excellent communications skill, both written and oral.
• Incumbent must be able to move freely about the stores including second-story offices, back rooms and production areas.
• Requires analytical ability and mental alertness to ensure accurate and thorough completion of work activities and for data interpretation and analysis.
• Possess ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions
• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and possess ability to motivate others to achieve desired results.
• Periodically work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays
  

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Periodic, multi-state travel required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• Work may be performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Must sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• May spend long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
• May use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
• Workday is fast paced; some evening and weekend work may be required.
