Summary
The Distribution and Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and executing the administrative functions of the Sales Management and Key Account Management group. The candidate hired for this role will manage distributor paperwork and other administrative needs to Dirty Hands’ client partners.
Responsibilities

Timely and accurate input of client distribution setups/changes.

Responsible for assisting in keeping client reports up to date with the latest available information on sales, promotional pricing, and distribution.

Acts as a consultant and assists with securing proper information relative to new items and change in existing items.

Serve as the expert to clients and Sales/Key Account Management on distributor programs, requirements and planning tools.

Assist in preparing post promotion analysis for clients.

Gather and analyze distributor data for use in reporting and sales meetings, customer appointments, and principal meetings.

Independently interpret and analyze distributor and retail sales data for use in client presentations.

Assist in preparing presentations for sales meetings, customer appointments, and principal meetings.

Responsible for setting up distribution for clients and following the full distribution cycle from start to finish, troubleshooting any issues.

Maintenance for any distribution adjustments from the client (Pack/Price/Freight changes, etc.)

Evaluate current workflows with a goal of suggesting, creating, and implementing more efficient processes.

Develop and refine effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on them.
Develop and strengthen relationships with Distributors (UNFI, KeHe, etc).
Qualifications/Experience
-
5+ years of experience in retails sales support with a broker/outsourced sales agency or equivalent with high levels of responsibility required.

Experience supporting multimillion dollar pitches.

A strong understanding of distributor program details (UNFI, KeHE, etc.), knowledge of inner workings of distributors, and the ability to problem solve within that context.

Experience completing retailer forms and paperwork submission such as new item forms.

Experience in food & beverage CPG.

Strong understanding of the food brand sales cycle.

Ability to collate and interpret meaningful data from a variety of sources and package/present it to meet end goals of brands and retailers.

Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Self-starter mindset who consistently seeks to be proactive.

High level of organization and ability to prioritize work.
