Job description

As a Distribution Team Member at our O.C. Tanner SDC location you will work with a team of 5 to 7 people. Job description entails processing incoming items and materials, picking and filling orders from inventory, and gathering and shipping of awards for our clients in recognition of their great work! Team Members in manufacturing work in a positive environment full of people who are inquisitive and focused on continuous improvement.

Team Members work daily to meet efficiency, delivery, and quality goals. Team Members often stand most of the day performing tasks such as picking product, packing merchandise, operating forklifts, and pallet jacks. Team Members are often asked to lift up to 50 lbs. and drive small box truck to transport product between our buildings. This involves a fair amount of dexterity and hand eye coordination, as well as hand strength. Requirements Include:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Basic computer literacy
• Written and verbal English communication skills
• Positive "can-do" attitude
• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs, repetitively
• Ability to notice and identify small quality details related to jewelry production and quality requirements
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity
• Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (on-the-job Forklift Operator and Safety Training provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
