About the Job:

The On-Site Representative on the Target External Fulfillment team will serve as a partner for the 3PL site executive leadership team. This role focuses on the optimum level of service to Target Guests and influences total capacity and fiscal performance for the Fulfillment Center. Establishes and maintains open communications with internal and external customers and suppliers. Executes roles and responsibilities with an emphasis on GSCL initiatives and goals. Works closely and collaboratively with third party logistics provider to achieve critical business initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with building leadership and peers to drive quality goals and meet inventory control metrics while fostering an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
• Participate in long and short term staffing development as well as daily planning with senior leadership, while also enhancing or creating improved tools to do so.
• Is a cross functional subject matter expert in order to foster clear communication and collaboration across organizations
• Have a high bar for operational and cultural results and the ability to successfully influence the development of a team of motivated and capable leaders and team members
• Ensure performance plans are set, achieved, maintained, and continuously improved through influencing strategic partners
• Implement and consult on kaizen and continuous improvement events with operational departments to stop-gap process control and quality issues.
• Influence a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness

About You:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field
• 1-3 years e-commerce, supply chain or supply chain support area experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Proven ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and provide feedback
• Process improvement and/or design experience including Six Sigma
• Proven ability to solve problems with little guidance using data and analytics
• Able to access all areas of the Fulfillment Center, including the multi-level pick mod
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Fulfillment Center
