Job Summary:
To assist the Plant Manager with daily production duties by communicating with customers and drivers to deliver a quality product to customers in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:
Ability to answer phone calls in a professional manner.
Good customer relations.
Be able to navigate the daily schedule to fit with the number of trucks being used at the plant and keep jobs flowing in a timely manner.
Clean up around inside the office.
Ability to take good directions.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Dependable & flexible work hours.

Sales Be able to up sale products to give customers a quality product.

Computer input skills.

Good communication skills with customers and co-workers.

Attention to details, organized with paperwork and be able to multi-task.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write correspondence.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.

Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Van Eaton Ready Mix employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or a combination of both.
