Our growing BBQ restaurant is looking for a Line Cook who can help us prepare food according to our recipes and standards. The applicant will be responsible for preparing food, cooking meals, and keeping a safe, sanitized work area. We are seeking someone with at least 1 year culinary experience committed to providing an excellent dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes

• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen

• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards

• Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed

• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant

• Clean, wash, and store all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items
• Cleaning all kitchen surfaces (floors, ceiling, walls, etc.)
• Maintain clean dishwasher and dishwashing area

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours or more a day
• Comfortable working with a team in a high-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time on a daily basis

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
