Industry Research: Develop and maintain organization’s knowledge base of industry forces, competitive landscape and leading best practices drawing upon internal subject matter experts, industry contacts and research, and public financial disclosures. Synthesize research findings into executive summaries. Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Partnerships: Analyze new market and business growth opportunities. Responsible for formulating, organizing and providing project management for all key aspects of inorganic growth initiatives, e.g., Initial evaluation of partner and strategic fit and development of partnership strategy including financial analysis and valuation. Lead diligence efforts, coordinating with internal business and functional leaders as well as external consultants and advisors. Confidential document analysis. Preparation of executive recommendations, and Stakeholder relationship management. Develop executive and board level presentations and works with corporate communications team on internal and external communications planning. Understand joint ventures, multi-provider joint ventures, partnerships, mergers and general business deals. Strategic Planning and Strategic Initiative Leadership: Participate with senior management to establish Strategic Plan and goals. In partnership with Strategy Team colleagues and business unit leaders, develop and drive enterprise strategic initiative planning to support overall organizational Strategic Plan. Plan, lead and support high-priority projects that advance the organization’s mission and Strategic Plan. Partner with other business leaders to manage internal and external resources to ensure success and meet timelines. Perform analysis and review of financial and operational feasibility studies for comprehensive recommendations. Maintain strong relationships with leaders across organization to facilitate Strategy Team projects. Bachelors degree plus two years of experience may be considered in lieu of Masters degree. Juris Doctor or Certified Public Accountant credentials are desirable.
