Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.


POSITION DUTIES
. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:


This individual will grow the company to the next level through Federal Sales.

This position offers the opportunity to grow with the organization.

The candidate should be market facing and must have extensive experience in capturing Federal US Government contracting opportunities.

The individual will lead business development in multiple markets and lead the firm’s role on certain contract vehicles.

Examples include having previous company experience in the fields of: information technology, military healthcare, cyber-security, military information technology contracts, and state contracts.

Some agencies we would like experience are along these lines but are not limited to: DoD, DHS, DHA, GSA, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, etc.


The candidate hired will be expected to have regular client contacts as well as interaction with our corporate team via telework.

Own and manage a pipeline of opportunities, tracking, status updates.

Formulate market plans, market scan reports.


Own authorship and updates for all related marketing materials.

Lead smaller proposals especially quick turn-around task order responses.

Lead and prepare responses to market surveys and requests for information.


Provide a detailed weekly activity report.

Brief senior management on new opportunities, pursuits, bid/no-bid, and capture updates.

Draft and update capture plans and call plans.

This individual will be expected to work multiple issues simultaneously, often requiring additional hours.

This individual will also be expected to embrace and promote the cultural norms of this organization, and work as an integrated, effective and collaborative member and/or leader of assigned teams.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
. Applicants MUST have this experience:

  • Proven knowledge of US Federal Government contract markets.
  • Experience in building and managing a multi-year services marketing pipeline.
  • Extensive experience in Federal business development in the areas of information technology, government services, healthcare, cyber-security, etc.
  • Ability to lead and drive a market plan for client services across Federal markets.
  • Experience fostering and maintaining relationships with organizations, internally and externally.
  • Experience in teaming for captures and managing subcontractors on bid/proposals.
  • Experience supporting small and medium proposals and responses to short turn-around task orders.
  • Thorough understanding of the Federal acquisition process.
  • Customer centric focus with proven successful client interface and management.
  • Understanding of IT services and technical solutions for clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and business development metrics for pwin, win rate, etc.
  • Must be at the Director of Vice-President level of Federal Business Development now.

DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE. This experience is desired but not required.

  • Extensive experience in Federal business development for services/consulting.
  • Leading prime bid opportunity capture efforts.
  • Background in Admin and IT services which will provide a better understanding of the firm’s service offerings for clients and client requirements.
  • Support the design and articulation of proposed technical solutions.
  • Experience in program execution and program management useful.
