RAKA Handling is looking for a Sales Manager who works to streamline sales operations in order to create sustainable strategies that support the short and long term business and growth plans of RAKA Handling. Through strategic focus in several key areas, the Sales Manager will oversee crucial initiatives that aim to maximize human capital efficiencies, improve territory planning and execution, and business development in new areas of business with key OEM partners.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

  • Safety is first and foremost priority of RAKA Handling product support operations. Effectively lead the team and grow an engaged safety culture is a daily expectation.
  • Responsible for establishing, developing and managing execution of business relationships with current and prospective customers in an assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Guides RAKA Handling sales team in managing customer sales activity and oversees efforts to retain, develop and activate past customers. Partners with RAKA marketing team for best use of market intelligence data aimed at specific industries and service offerings.
  • Ensure team utilizes CRM system for timely and accurate updates to be used for forward looking fleet planning and territory management opportunities.
  • Directs department’s personnel administration activities including job assignment, training, performance coaching and evaluation and compensation review. Coaches, motivates and directs staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with departmental goals, objectives and budget.
  • Participates in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by researching, developing & maintaining long & short range sales & marketing plans. Maintains staff awareness of strategic plans and procedures.
  • Supports the equitable assignment of sales team quotas and ensures they are optimally allocated to all sales channels, resources, and key performance indicators.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
