SUMMARY OF POSITION: *
The Director of Program Management and Companion Diagnostics leads Project Management, Data Management and Project Support of Pharma Services and is responsible for the overall performance of the Pharma Services Project portfolio. This is a key leadership role in support of clinical trials, Companion Diagnostic programs and research projects for pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic clients. The Director of Program Management and Companion Diagnostics represents & advocates for Fulgent Pharma Services internally and externally, ensures projects are adequately staffed and successfully executed, and grows the competence of the Pharma Project Management Operations organization. The role oversees projects involving biology, bioinformatics, engineering, software, and other technical disciplines.
As a member of the Pharma Services leadership team, the incumbent provides input to strategic direction, supports initiatives, & drives growth of the business. The Director of Program Management and Companion Diagnostics oversees core aspects of systems, processes, and tools that support the business and project infrastructure.
The role oversees the full range of projects for Research, Clinical Trials (Phase I, Phase II and Phase III) and CDx programs including Molecular / NGS / IHC / ISH, WES, FISH, Flow Cytometry, Immunoassay and Cytogenetics. The Director of Program Management and Companion Diagnostics leads process improvement initiatives within Project Management Operations to improve customer service and help maximize productivity and efficiency throughout the organization.

Provides framework for project management and project support as well as data management.
- Manage clinical trials and projects from set-up to database lock.
- Manage external audits.
- Writes SOPs and final reports when necessary.
- Hosts audits alongside QA.
- Presents capabilities to external clients.
- Assists in proposal generation.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences required.
- 7+ years in Project Management.
