NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Any-Time Home Care, Inc. is a licensed home health care service agency that services areas from New York City up through the Capital District. We believe that the patients always come first, and strive for excellency in the service we provide to them.
We are looking to bring on board, a Director of Operations who will travel, and work with our branch managers, office staff, aides, and clients. The Director of Operations will be required to assist in business develop and handle operations throughout the company. While working with the staff and community to increase census, and revenue for the Company.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Leading the organization moving forward and developing and administrating overall duties in the branches.
- Ensuring that all branches are doing their required duties, running a smooth operation, and handling all situations quickly, effectively, and efficiently.
- Organizing and directing the agency’s ongoing functions to assure the availability and provision of care and services to all our clients and aides.
- Assuring that all company policies and procedures are being adhered to and creating new and appropriate policies, when needed.
- Monitoring the agency’s performance keeping us in the top standing for quality care and client satisfaction.
- Communicating effectively, when changes within the company take place, helping staff adapt to changes, while monitoring the transition and evaluating the results.
- Ensuring that there is compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations.
- Work with Management to recruit and train both in house and field employees.
- Detect and communicate with potential new business sources.
- Work to maintain and improve the stability of staff.
- Ability to generate and maintain a healthy ongoing revenue stream.
- Other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE HOME HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years work related experience in management or related field.
- Master’s degree in related field.
- Able to create and maintain relations with all providers.
- Able to negotiate for contracts rates.
- Self-starter able to make decisions as pass necessary information with communication to appropriate personal.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Sales and marketing experience
- Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and to able to manage and multi task projects.
- Strong business sense, strategic thinking relationship building ability and strong leadership skills.
- Must be able and willing to travel as needed to conduct business and secure referrals leading to new clients.
- On call work, as well as evenings and weekends may be required.
- Easily able to assume leadership role and command respect.
- Proven ability to work with efficiency and flexibility.
- Attend and participate in other compliance conferences and meetings as required.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication are imperative.
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in organizational settings.
- Remain focused under pressure, and able to deliver against timelines, not intimidated by tasks/times limitations.
EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of NYS Dept. of Health regulations for Home Care.
- Interdisciplinary Supervision
- Program evaluation and assessment
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy
- Contract Negotiations
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
