Are you a driven IT professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record for delivering results?

We are currently seeking an experienced leader to drive market leading results within our Managed Security Team. The Director of Managed Security will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Managed Security/client-facing security ecosystem and providing leadership and support to all roles within the department. They will also assist in providing strategy for the Managed Security space to drive growth. Key focus areas are innovation, staying ahead of relevant world events, consistent excellence, proactiveness, and driving efficiency.

Here’s what you will be responsible for:

• Manage, prioritize, and support company initiatives and goals that are aggressive, yet obtainable and tied to company goals.
• Lead and develop management teams to deliver results consistent with the organizations overall strategy. including develop metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, provide training, and set goals.
• Participate in association/peer/professional organizations to remain educated, aware, and networked. In order to benchmark and assess industry competitiveness, market trends, and emerging client needs.
• Oversee at risk clients and act as an escalation point for client issues.
• Assist in sales-enablement and marketing momentum by helping present at events, for clients, or providing content.
• Ensure adherence to annual budgets and make sound business decisions based on data and statistics. Do what is possible to drive maximum profitability or cost reduction.
• Ensure proper reporting structure and resource allocation within all divisions.
• Assist in managing strategic vendor relationships.
• Continuously broker solid symbiotic relationships between Sales and Service.

This is the background we think would make you successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years relevant technical experience with at least 5 years of experience in senior management/leadership role.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar certification preferred.
• Ability to propose, promote, collaborate, and execute strategic corporate initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships, solicit cooperation, and resolve conflicts with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Travel: ability to travel throughout the country and Canada; less than 50%
