The Schoolhouse Hotel is looking for a passionate Director of Food and Beverage! This role will be responsible for the management and achievement of profit for all food and beverage operations in the hotel including The Varsity Club, The Rooftop, catering, and banquet operations. Must adhere to all regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements as well as brand standards. • Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff to ensure their performance adheres to a high standard
• Manage all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage department including budget, menu development, staff oversight, schedule, and customer service
• Monitor and maintain product, supplies, and labor costs
• Develop new menus with the culinary team that include suitable pricing structures
• Create and maintain staff operation schedules

• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Deep knowledge of culinary trends in the industry and a strong understanding of portion and plating standards
• Experience with hospitality customer relationship management systems preferred
• Firm understanding of the national healthy safety regulations
• Over 3 years in food and beverage management
