About Employer
We are building the $2.6 billion facilities (phase 1, 2) in Commerce, GA which is the largest economic development deal in Georgia in more than decade ago, and will generate over 2,000 jobs over the next few years.
The employer has partnered with major automakers and will produce batteries for electric vehicles that will shape the way of the future. Together, the facilities will reach a production capacity of 21.5 gigawatts, the equivalent of powering more than 400,000 vehicles.
What you will do (Essential Duties):
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to lead process improvement projects to increase product quality and efficiencies to drive business results.
- Train, coach, and mentor Green / Black Belts using DMAIC methodology to prioritize improvement projects.
- Ensure Lean and Six Sigma tools and practices are implemented correctly.
- Lead rapid improvement events and workshops to spread CI culture and improvement to the greater organization. These will be both transactional and operational
- Develop the short & long-term Continuous Improvement roadmaps for each project in their region
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organization's goals and strategies.
- Create a detailed project plan to track progress, effectively communicate that progress with key stakeholders and senior leaders
- Review technical opportunities and procedures of departments and recommend solutions or changes.

Qualifications:
- Automotive background preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Required (Engineering Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification attained in the last five years
- Minimum 10 years of Lean / Six Sigma process improvement experience desired
- Preference for experience with databases and complex data analysis (SQL, Access, Macros, Tableau, Minitab, ERP/MRP, etc.).
- Knowledge and practice of Daily Management Improvement systems strongly preferred
- Experience applying Lean Six Sigma systems to a portfolio of projects
- Experience in establishing and sustaining effective KPI/metric-driven standards and governance
- High level of competency in team building, interpersonal relationship building and influence without authority is required
