Hmong American Partnership (HAP) is a non-profit social service and community development organization located in the heart of Minnesota who addresses the needs of more than 30,000 immigrants and refugees across the Twin Cities each year. We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as the Director of Community Impact in our Community Impact impact area.
Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Community Impact is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, managing, reporting, and evaluating HAP’s Educational, Navigation and Access and Empowerment programs. This position is critical in helping drive impact for our clients that attend to strengthening families. The Director is a member of HAP’s leadership team and serves as the strategic leader that manages activities across our all program areas.

  • Salary: $90,000 - $105,000/year; depending on qualifications
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM, weekends and evenings as needed

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drives the strategic direction of the Community Impact Area.
  • Manages day to day operations of programs and services and supervision of managers and program staff
  • Consults with and serves as a community liaison to family service providers and individuals, partners and other stakeholders
  • Conducts regularly scheduled caseload consultation and case review of program staff
  • Drives and oversees the design, development, and implementation of impact area initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise in family and educational services especially as it relates to funded activities in educational partnerships, community health and wellness, family and youth services
  • Effectively track and manage outcomes through the use of reports and ETO and other funder required databases in order to meet performance goals and outcomes
  • Maintain the reporting and accountability necessary to ensure that the program is in compliance
  • Participate in policy working groups related to issues that impact the communities HAP services

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field is required. A Masters in social and human services preferred.
  • Licensure in a social work or counseling field is preferred: either LICSW, LPCC, LFMT, LAMFT
  • A minimum of six years of management and leadership experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and duties.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel to multiple service locations, if needed.
