The
Director of Clinic Operations serves as a strategic-focused leader who is responsible for the oversight and operations of the clinic operations team. The director is a key partner of the Chief Ambulatory Officer and ambulatory leadership team, ensuring patient safety, quality of care, and exceptional customer service across the continuum of care.

This position is full-time, generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. TCHC offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Plans, coordinates, and effectively leads medical clinics to meet patient care, administrative, operational, and support requirements; oversees development of clinics and regularly manages improvement projects.
- Responsible for quality of care, service, operational, and financial performance of assigned areas; encourages a collaborative and shared scope of work based upon strengths of each leader within the division to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develops, monitors, and analyzes budget and financial information and utilizes all resources in an effective and economical manner.
- Leads and/or participates in meetings to ensure services of TCHC are aligned with regulatory compliance and ensures operational effectiveness.
- Works to build internal relationships and transparency and to create a culture of excellence and ownership; works to develop a culture that promotes collaborative relationships, communication, and problem solving.
- Develops, analyzes, and implements processes and systems to enhance customer service excellence across medical clinics and takes ownership of and drives needed improvements in all aspects of operations including clinic productivity, patient experience, provider resiliency, and community outreach.
- Responsible for implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Leads employees through the change process by providing direction for successful performance during times of transition.
- Coaches, mentors, and develops direct reports to build and maintain a highly competent and professional practice management team.

- Works cooperatively with patients, families, providers, and other employees at all levels of the organization.
Education and experience required:
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of three to five years progressive healthcare leadership experience.
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
Immunization requirements include: MMR, Hepatitis B (based on the position), Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, COVID-19.
